Driftin' Rage - New racing game to the Mega Drive / SEGA Genesis (WIP)
This is a video of a work in progress, therefore, all features may change, including gameplay, images, audio, and other components.
Driftin' Rage is a Mega Drive / SEGA Genesis racing game. It's a love letter to great classics from the 16-bit era.

Quanto a isso pode ficar tranquilo que não lançarei cartuchos sem as devidas proteções que durem ao menos o tempo suficiente para ter o retorno financeiro. Nada é 100%, então estou ciente de que será uma questão de tempo para quebrarem a proteção.

Holy shit, I haven’t been so excited for a Mega Drive game in a long time! My only observation is that the bike leaning animation needs to be delayed to provide a sense of physicality, and the physics themselves need to be tweaked to stop such instantaneous steering as it did look a little odd. This would also help in providing a difference between the use of a car vs a bike. Perhaps bikes are advantageous because of their lower hit boxes, but slower to turn? We really need a demo and more info on this pronto. I’m hyped!
Don't worry, in the next video, you will see some good enhancements. I listened to the suggestions from all the comments and improved what was possible.

Because the Mega Dive has no analogue controls the turning on a lot of racing games can be a bit twitchy if not careful … wondering if left / right should be a gentle turn but left / right + A buttonbe a hard turn to smooth things out maybe 🤷
Gameplay will be better in the next revision.
